Susan

McCain

Susan McCain is Artistic Director & co-founder of Steel Magic,Inc.

Write/director of Th'Burning, she 

holds an MFA in Theatre from the University of Alabama

EmphasisPerformanceMovement 

She worked professionally on the west coast, was tenured with  Jacksonville State, and teaches with    the Alabama School of Fine Arts.     

Eleanor

Brown

Eleanor Brown serves as Treasurer for Steel Magic. She is a native of Fort Wayne, IN. Eleanor moved with her parents as a child and has called Birmingham her home ever since. She is a mathematics teacher in the Birmingham School system for the past 23 years. She holds a B.A. in Secondary Education from Jacksonville State University, and an M.A. in Secondary Education.

Vicki 

Bradley-Seals

Vicki Bradley-Seals, a native of Birmingham, AL, serves as President and Registered Agent of Steel Magic. She is an attorney, practicing law for more than twenty-two years. She holds a B.A. from Alabama State University, as well as a Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.

Roy

Williams

Roy Williams serves as Vice President of Steel Magic. He serves as Public Relations Director at the Birmingham Public Library, overseeing publicity for 19 libraries across the city. Since August 2013, he has served as host of Biz Talk with Roy Williams, Birmingham's only weekly radio talk show focused solely on business issues. 

Jason 

Wright

Jason Wright co-developed and conceived Th' Burning with McCain. He has worked extensively as visual artist, vocal director, and performer extraordinaire with Th' Promise African-American Theatre Productions. Jason holds and MFA in Visual Arts from Jacksonville State. 

Jacqueline "Jacky" Long

Jacky serves as secretary for Steel Magic. She holds a B.A in Theatre as well as a M.A in Secondary English Education from UAB. She's had the opportunity to perform in Japan and served briefly as a tutor and acting coach while in Switzerland for the New York Harlem Opera Company. Her passion is to use theatre as a means of conflict resolution.

Jomo K.

Johnson

Jomo K. Johnson serves as Outreach Specialist for Steel Magic. His life work is helping at-risk youth discover their strengths in becoming better, contributing citizens. He knows the valuable role that art plays in substantiating a sense of purpose.He is a Criminal Justice graduate of Jacksonville State University.
